Seems fitting for the

Makin me feel my age

Yea,...well, I was nothing but a young FNG RA, Flag waving,... dumb ass Indiana farm boy, who believed what the leadership of this country was saying. Things have changed somewhat.
Yes, yes they have. I was just thinking that todday. Went to lok at a job for a lady, hit the wrong driveway nextdoor. The owner came out and I asked for Nicole...he had no idea who she was and they had lived next door for 5 years. when I grew up I knew everybody for 5 miles around and most by first name.

It was easier to believe when the information sources were fewer and you only heard a single message. We had no idea that the “official story” was often not the truth. We had no idea how bad the media distorted the facts.

Grab that pig over there, start slinging lead in the air, like you don't care.

There were so many different complete versions, Same as with,...Have you ever seen the rain & Who'll stop the rain. Some versions I never heard an only after my side kick an I opened up the first time did I learn some he had. Now when(BMR) comes on it will change the mood/tempo real quick. Once back a few years ago we were having a shity night an I shoved the BMR CD into the player, it changed our moods 180* as soon as it started.

It's all funny now,...

That song came out in 69, I ETS'ed the first time in 67. Just finished a recall an was hanging out waiting for a hop back when I first heard it there were 10 of us listening, an we quickly started adding words. LOL CCR had a few songs that fit the times an we easily changed the words to fit our world.

John Fogerty was a hell of a song writer. I was always impressed by them, I've been listening to CCR since I can remember.

John Fogerty WAS CCR. Wrote all the lyrics, sang 90% of the vocals, and played lead guitar. The others were merely adequate back up.
