It's a love hate thing, it's going bye bye to fund a trip on the other one to Alaska, great bike, just not great in flatistan, down here you need warp drive to avoid the nut jobs trying to kill you on the interstate.

I finally had a chance to ride the full Alpine Loop as a final ride this year in the high country of Colorado. We also picked up Black Bear Pass and dropped into Telluride before going straight up over Imogene pass to finish back in Ouray. 130 miles of awesomeness!!

If you get a chance go over Stony Pass from Silverton over to Creede. Made the trip many times in a FWD while fishing Pole and Bear Creek as well as the Rio Grande.
