Sheriff robs multiple armored cars

When are asset forfeiture laws going to go before the supreme court? I believe that the original intent of asset forfeiture was to seize the fuits of criminal enterprise. I don't think for a second the intent was what it's become, where they are taking property without any criminal charges, or evidence that criminal activity has occured. This is just corruption, and abuse. Those laws need to be clarified to reflect the true intent of the laws.

I’d call it armed robbery.

The only solution is to execute a felony warrant on all officers involved, and felony conspiracy charges for everyone from the dispatcher to the criminal lookout who tips them off on the trucks.

But justice rarely applies to main street

You can thank the great war on drugs for destroying another part of the constitution and civil liberties.

Most of the time the police just seize the money, make off with it and don't bother with criminal charges or even a criminal investigation.
All they want is some filthy money for their vile departments.
Literal bandits with badges and the vile courts protect them.

This has been going on since the 1920/1930's when the government told you to turn in your gold coins.
Grandmother said when you when to the bank to get something from your safety deposit box, there were "revenuers" there
to look in your box and if there was gold there, they took it.

Almost like the founders expected this type of shit.

The cops are doing the right thing by seizing the Biggest Criminal Enterprise assets called the Federal Reserve !!!

A armed society is a polite society.

As a kid, me and a bunch of friends were out on someone’s dads acreage in BFE, shooting back in the days where a teen could shoot a fucking tree down with ammo prices, we had a good back stop and all, didn’t really make a mess or anything, someone calls the donut shop because he heard a gunshot, in the middle of BFE, and out rolls robocop.

So he talks to the folks, say the kids are out that way, dude goes and grabs his budget AR out of his cop car, dude gets a call to come out and talk to the cop, his whole visible stance changed when what I guess he thought was a kid or two with a 10/22 turned into 10 or 12 late teens and early 20s walkout out of the woods with AKs, ARs and shotguns.

We had a very friendly conversation, he left, we went back to what we were doing and never saw him again.

Attitudes change by miles when you notice you don’t have a monopoly on potential violence.

We got pulled over by a state trooper with 4 guys in a truck piled over the bedside height with ammo and rifle cases.

Pulled over for "speeding" and ended up just sitting in the ditch talking guns for a while and he made us late for a meeting, 9/10 interaction though.

Police checking in aren't the worst usually, it's the nosey old man who lives a mile the opposite direction from where the backstop is you're shooting claiming you keep shooting over his head. He just found an excuse to feel good about trespassing.

Sounds like the Sheriff is a thug, we live in a bizarro world. Pretty soon cash will be banned and precious metals too..........
Except for the elite government thugs preying on the little people. I'm actually surprised it doesn't happen more!!
