I'm shooting paper at 100 yards. I have heard that the 168gr bullets have an accuracy advantage at this range. Can anyone confirm this? I can get the 168's now. Should I hold out for some 175's?

grasshopper......effect your due diligence and research the 155,168 and 175,,,,,and the 190....at 100yd the paper knows no difference.

I don't know if they have any advantage at 100yds my rifle shoots them equally to about 250-300yds then the 175's start to shine. If anything at 100yds mine shot the 155's about as good as any. I'm shooting a Winchester Stealth II, that keeps well under MOA out to 500yds.

118, 135, 150, 155, 165, 168 or whatever, doesn't matter at 100 yds. BR types use the lighter with awesome results.
168 have an accuracy advantage over WHAT at 100 yds ? 175s ?

I have seen hornady's 110 v-max do amazing things, group wise, in several 308's at one and two hundred yards.... give them a try.

For paper punching at 100, get some flat base bench rest bullets.

BR shooters are shooting 30br 112 and 118 flat base 10 ogive bullets out of 1:18-1:19 twist barrels in VFS matches not factory 1:11-1:12 twist barrels.

Very true Larry, however the OP could use FB 135 at 100 or any number of projectiles if all he is doing is punching paper. That was my point.

+1 on the 135s at 100. I shoot 135s through a 10 twist with excellent accuracy.
