The price seems pretty attractive for a piston 308 ar. Have not read many reviews on them. Anyone have one they can comment on or should I stick with the pws mk214? Thanks in advance and sorry if this question has been asked ten million times, posting from my phone.

We had two sent to our department that we absolutely ass raped! They are tough units, and I would not hesitate to have one as a battle rifle. But they were definitely not precision rifles, one shot right at 1 moa, and the other, "well not so well".

After the debacle with the 556 I would not buy another SIG rifle unless it had a proven track record and then only maybe. But that's just me.

I've had three 556's and they all worked great. Accuracy was not where the AR platform was however. I'm thinking I may just stick with the PWS 214 and wait my turn for it.

I own a 716, and its a fantastic rifle. I like it so much I am in the market for a 516 to go with it. So far several hundred rounds down range, not one issue.

I shot two groups back to back using my reloaded 168 gr Nosler CC bullets that would fit under a quarter at 100 yards. Shooting M80 balll will get around 1.5 moa. The adjustable gas system is awesome when shooting supressed.

Unless they did better in the accuracy department on this one, I would go with any number of the AR based designs over the Sig.

Sigs go bang. This is true.

They just don't have the same accuracy that the AR based platforms do.

No first hand experience with it but what I have read so far seems promising. I too have been considering this model.
