This is the Underground Skunkworks INFIDEL Rifle Package. The design is very simple and straight-forward, as I've had numerous requests to offer a package with the AICS 1.5 and 2.0 Chassis Systems. The specs of the pictured rifle are:

Underground Skunkworks Model 911 "Stand Alone" Action (AW Magazine pictured but also feeds from the AICS Magazine)

Underground Skunkworks Low Profile 20 MOA Rail

Underground Skunkworks Oversize Bolt Knob

Bartlein Tight Bore, 5R, 11.25 Twist (22", measured from lug)

Chambered with Skunkworks .308 Reamer

Timney Trigger with Narrowed and Re-Contoured Shoe, Tuned to 3 lbs.

AICS 2.0 (with full bedding)

Graphite Black Cerakote (mixed flatter)

Weight as Pictured is 16 lbs

I'll be offering this package starting at $2995 with the AICS 1.5. The rifle pictured is $3075 without rings, optics and bipod. If you have your own AICS, I'll do the barreled action for you for $1800 with Cerakote.

Scroll Down to see Group 5....

Here's the range report I promised. The ammo I used for the test is BH 175gr Match. Group 5 is all me, as the nearby ants were growing more concerned with the muzzle blast with every shot. By the time I got to Group 4, they were out in full force with a hungry look on their faces. You can find more package and pricing details on the INFIDEL at INFIDEL.

Thanks....I'll have a .260 Rem just like this one finished within the next couple weeks....It'll have MilSpec Green metal work with Black skins on the AICS....

Thanks....I'm trying to get it on the range today but I'm waiting to see if the ominous looking clouds have more bark than bite....It might have to wait until tomorrow....

Thanks Jeff....All I need to get started on your 7 Mag is the barrel from Kreiger. Unfortunately they're still scheduled for a November ship date....

Very nice stuff you have. </div></div>

That's a pretty cool bullet hole

I actually didn't notice that before, but it's a reflection of my light stand in the photo room....Thanks TB....

Thanks Casey....As a matter of fact, it is....The only difference is the RECON contour is a finished length of 20" from the breech and the INFIDEL pictured is 22" from the lug....

I have everything ready to go on your 7WSM and just waiting for the stock.

Would it be possible to put the Infidel barreled action into a Manners MCS-T stock??

I'm possibly thinking of a new 300 Win mag???? </div></div>

I'm sure it'll work fine but I can do a mock-up tomorrow and see how it looks. My only question would be how well it balances. What barrel length are you thinking?

I love the looks of the Infidel, but not real familar with e the AICS stock. How much does the pictured Infidel weigh?? </div></div>

That should work fine, but I'll put a few test parts together tomorrow and see how it's going to balance....

The pictured INFIDEL weighs in at 16 lbs with rings, optics and bipod.

The stock works very well, but I do completely bed them the same as I do any other stock. What I really enjoy about the INFIDEL (and all other Skunkworks SA packages) is how slick the feeding is from the AICS and AW mags. Even with the smaller port on the "Stand Alone," it's pretty easy to top off the AW through the port....

I have a gun that a guy is very interested in - if it sells, I'll give you a shout on Monday to discuss the "twin". </div></div>

No problem....Depending on the circumstances, I may be able to run them through at the same time....

What does the barrel measure at the muzzle with the recon contour finished at 22?

GG </div></div>

Thanks GG727....The RECON contour measures .930" at the muzzle regardless of the finished length, but typically all of my RECON barrels are 20". I ran this one out to 22" when I ordered it and kept the .930" muzzle diameter.

And I DO appreciate that and the good words....I'll stay in touch with the progress of the JAEGER....I'll have a number of PERSEUS packages completed that I'm building for two different agencies and will send you some photos. The JAEGER is essentially a LA version of the PERSEUS....

Thanks Dan and that's good news on the BAT. Your KUKRI will be started pretty soon, so maybe they run through at close to the same time....

The Graphite Black is one of my favorites, but I do mix it a little flatter than normal....MilSpec OD is another nice color....

Re: Skunkworks INFIDEL Package

That is just 16lbs of hot sweaty sex right there!! Looks great, and looks to perform even better. All of that for a very affordable price. Gonna be hard to beat this for sure.

Re: Skunkworks INFIDEL Package

FYI,
I'll have another INFIDEL completed soon that's up for grabs, as the original purchaser had to back out of the pictured .308 and the .260 Rem due to a family issue. A Hide member snatched up the .308, so it's no longer available. The .260 specs are the same as the .308 with the exception of the action, barrel and finish. The action is the Skunkworks "Compatible" instead of the "Stand Alone," the barrel is a Broughton and the metalwork is MilSpec OD with Black Skins on the AICS 2.0.
