Can you imagine being the poor NCO on his "Recruiting tour" when all of a sudden he gets several-dozen screaming Karens showing up hollering how their "Baby isn't going to Ukraine... even though we support Ukraine and want other psople's money sent there."
On the other hand, odds are that about a third of letters end up in the hands of kids/parents who say "Off you go... Sign on the dotted line and don't come home without Specialists Stripes." Recruiting quotas might get made overnight!

The "guy" is our illustrious transportation secretary, Pete Buttplug. The chick is a police officer in TN who made headlines for banging most of the guys in her department while on duty IIRC... Google "La Vergne TN PD scandal."
