Someone murdered Charlie Kirk

If anybody sabotages the movement it should NOT be our side. If WE keep pushing this, (even if it's true) and it causes the foundation to crumble then WE are guilty. If it's true, let the enemy be the destroyer, not us.
You had right up until you got to the "even if it's true" part.

Yes, the lefties want you dead. Not ironically or metaphorically. They want you not breathing anymore and no longer having a pulse. They justify this by saying that our desire for family and for merit-based approval is extremist and fascist and that it is okay to kill fascists.

It's a standard tactic in war, from what I can see. Reduce the enemy to a word, dehumanize them, then killing them doesn't feel so bad.

Like the quote I shared when a guy was asked what it was like to take a human life and he said, "I don't know. I only killed communists."

I know for my friend, Lee, his time in southeast Asia in the second half of the 60s is where he learned to call vietnamese (and koreans, cambodians, laotians) gooks.

But a man can come home from the war and live quietly. He and I were working on what was going to be a Winn Dixie at 28th St and Jacksboro Highway in Fort Worth (around the time that company was filing some bankruptcy.) One of co-workers was a guy named Liang. He told us he was from Laos.

Lee said, "I was in Laos for a time."

"When was that?" he asked.

"1964 to 1969 during the Vietnam War."

"What were you doing there?" Liang asked.

"Killing people who looked just like you," Lee replied.

"You're not going to kill me now, are you?" asked Liang.

"No, the war is over, right?"

Good times, good times, you had to be there.
