I did a quick search of the thread and did not find the keywords I was looking for to be together. If someone else already noticed this, pardon my redundancy.

So, the LEO are saying that they found a Mauser .30-06.

The first officer to start looking for LHO in the Dallas School Book Depository saw a Mauser. Of course, later that official rifle became the Carcano.

So, is there a Mauser thing with assassins?
Or, do cops have hard-ons for Mauser rifles?

Discuss amongst yourselves.

Those two names should not be in the same paragraph or on the same page. Floyd was NOT murdered for his beliefs by his political opposition. He was a victim of his own choices and his death was peddled to promote Marxist class struggle.

But I think they say that piece of footage was from before, on the way to the school. Given that, I was also thinking it may be due to an attempt to conceal down one leg of the pants.

I am wondering how we're to believe that is the weapon without seeing some ballistics/forensics evidence. Fuck, they thought they had the guy twice, yet we're 100% certain some rifle they found in the woods in the m-weapon how exactly?

They asserted it was found in the woods, wrapped up in towels or some shit? So he wrapped it up on the run, or he shot it wrapped or what are the hypotheses here?

Any real, credible "evidence" or is the FBI just posting shit online like we are?

i'm wondering if the rifle was scoped, or if the killer just used iron sights. 140yd shot. since he had it stuffed down his pants legs while walking to the school, if scoped, would be more cumbersome. since there's video of him walking, "limping" to the school...

at this time, no pics of the rifle, yet.

No, when you're downrange from a suppressed rifle you won't hear the rifle go off at all. What you'll hear is the supersonic crack of the bullet breaking the sound barrier, which sounds just like someone firing a 22LR high velocity round (or maybe even a 22 mag) right next to you. This crack is very loud, just like someone cracking a bullwhip. This will sound like it came from the closest point in the bullet's path to your ears/microphone. That's why there's hardly any delay between the sound and the hit. The suppressor conceals the location of the shooter by denying the advantage of hearing the muzzle blast. Almost everybody was looking in the direction of the target in this case.

IF that round was actually fired from an unsuppressed 30-06 from 200 yds away you MIGHT hear the report AFTER the bullet strikes but it would likely be unnoticeable due to the crack up close, the bullet striking flesh, and everybody losing their shit around you. IF the round came from an unsuppressed 30-06 up close, the BOOM of the muzzle blast would be super loud and the only thing you could hear. Everybody in the crowd would look in the direction of the shooter in either case.

I don't think that rifle was down the pant leg. Still flex in the knee and I think the limp is fake. My bet is whatever rifle was used, it was placed before-hand or was in a backpack, which means the mauser is not the weapon that was used. Iffin you going to go through with this would you risk sneaking around a campus with a scoped mauser in broad daylight?

I didn’t read through the previous pages since a couple hours ago. Maybe this was already shared.

Lots of questions, especially when you look at that janky scope mount situation. Did the scope shift backward when it was fired? Maybe this person just didn’t really know what they were doing and mounted it like that from the start. Maybe that’s what they want you to think? Who knows.

Also, it looks like a short action. I’ve seen other reports saying it was a 30-06.

I had some idiot neighbors (a "veterans club") of my in-laws set up a pistol range on their property. One day when i was looking after my in-laws house, there were some people shooting a .22LR at steel over at the club. They were about 175 yards from my in-laws house through the woods. You could distinctly hear the crack of the report of the (smallish) gunshot AT THE SAME TIME as the the impact on steel. That absolutely told me they were shooting in my direction.

I jumped in my truck and sped over there. Sure as shit, two families were shooting .22 pistols. Also sure as shit, the "range" was set up directly at my in-laws house. A quick and relatively calm discussion with the owner of the club, and they shut the range down before reestablishing it is a safe direction - idiots.

P.S. Suppressed weapons make a considerable pop. I've had landowners 1.28 miles *Google maps* send me a text and ask me what I killed before after shooting a friend of mine shot a coyote while we were out one night.

LOL, yeah. But what I found hilarious was not so much that guy, but what he was finding from the 4chan gang; they are bloodhounds when it comes to finding people online. With just that post about "evaporating" Kirk and within hours they've got a cache of info about who posted.

agree. try sticking a scoped bolt gun down a pants leg. not doable IMHO. yea,fake limp looks to me like. but like everything with this,who knows? and what will be learned and put forward to the serfs? whatever the rulers want to make public true or not.

Not saying it can't be done. But cutting threads on a rifle barrel with a die set takes more skill than doing one with a lathe! At least if you own a lathe, you can chuck the barrel and use the tailstock to align the die. Try it in a vise and you'll end up with barrel buggery.

I guarantee those tools will cut and thread a barrel in netter alignment, than tje two wilson combat blackout barrels i had that were over 20 thou out of concentric with the bore.
People are using these tools every day without baffle strikes.

A stubby blade screwdriver and 5mins max, anyone without two handfuls of thumbs can undo two action screws and break the rifle down into manageable pieces. You'd be surprised how much of rifle broken down like this you can fit into a backpack with an access hole in the bottom, slim end of the barreled action and stock out through the hole in the backpack and tucked down the duds and off you go. A couple of young blokes I know rather keen to shoot some bunnies on a acreage block just out of town and used to run this very setup to avoid the neighborhood Gladys Kravitz calling someone as they walked past her house and out to the block.

You need to watch some store surveillance vids of what people can fit in or on their person when they have cause to do so.

We dont know. I can tell you when I was 15 back in the early 80s I snuck out my dads .243 with scope down my pants. Big difference is that we were just shooting cans or bottles or groundhogs.
