If you took the barreled action out of the stock, and had a simple screw driver with a couple bits you could reassemble the whole thing after transporting it to a given location. It’s not rocket surgery to take an action out of a stock.

Bongino and Patel just showed up for FBI presser asking for public's help in finding suspicious person on surveillance (no name or pseudoname was given). Its been noted that he could still be local or be anywhere in country.
This whole theory that he jumped off the building with a bolt action rifle in his pants, landed, knees full bent to where it looks like his ass touches the ground. And runs off to some nearby wooded area to ditch the supposed rifle they are claiming they found with a spent cartridge in the chamber. The FBI just showed a film of him - he hung off the edge of the roof and dropped a couple feet - see above. They are looking to collect DNA from where he hung off the roof - I guess they are waiting for it to rain first.
