What caught my eye is the stuff about her mother. I have seen several videos mentioned this, so I thought someone here might debunk it.
I just find this whole situation with Erika to be odd and quite frankly she seems out of place in this storyline. There is something very off about her.

Agreed. She did have her own podcast type stuff trying to be an influencer but based on the stuff I looked at she's mostly personality with very little original content or agenda. She's nowhere near Charlie caliber when it comes to thinking on her feet or depth of content.
I can't say I agreed with absolutely everything Charlie said and his tenacity was a little over the top occasionally but he blew every one of the other howler monkeys our of the water with his veracity. He stuck to topics he knew.

I tried to watch the old man's press conference about it, but that was painful, too...finally reached fatigue, I guess.
I think I've been there for a while.
