Something kicking off in Israel

The Liberty attack was the fault of the CNO and Sixth Fleet not telling their Israeli counterparts that the Liberty would be operating close offshore. This was after the Israeli's explicitly asked for deconfliction and coordination. Admiral Martin of the Sixth Fleet denied Captain McGonagle's request for escort. And he did not ensure that the Liberty was told to be at least 100 NM off the coast as was agreed with the Israelis. He did not send hourly plots to the Liaison officer at Israeli HQ. Finally, the Liberty got its taskings from a separate chain of command and did not assume a static racetrack but wandered all over at different speeds.

The actual attack was caused by the Israelis not communicating well internally. The Liberty was spotted (and overflown) by their high command, and identified correctly, but the plot was removed. Local commanders spotted the ship later, while getting reports of attack from the sea, and then went forward with the attack after checking with high command.

The declassified intercepts from US assets in the area clearly show the Israelis thought it was an Egyptian ship and then document them finally figuring it out that it was not Egyptian. Israeli message logs also corroborate the intercepts.

Lots of blame to go around, but you don't sail into a war zone, wander all over a weapons free AO without liaison, and not have a hard plan to ensure you don't get shot.
Gotcha, you say she got raped for wearing a mini skirt.

Right now, a conventional response that levels the place block-by-block and is followed by tactical bulldozers to knock down even the remaining rubble will do just fine. Rolling artillery barrages will also be TV worth watching. Pay special attention to the buildings marked "Baby Milk Factory." Because it isn't.

Sirhr

People need food and water.

Is everyone taking notes? I am.

Oh yes it is very clear at this point...

If I was living in Fuzhou, Shanghai, or Guangdong right now and the Chinese government were to come to a sudden, internal decision to take Taiwan once and for all, I WILL wholly expect up to a million innocent Chinese civilians in these regions to be sacrificed in a series of very carefully orchestrated false flag operations in order to justify the coming cataclysm of destruction that would be wreaked upon Taiwan. Even a dam or two being sacrificed and several cities turned into lakes would be worth it to the government if it means taking the prize of Taiwan and perhaps several more chains of islands AKA "natural aircraft carriers" as collateral. To expect anything else would be utter folly. That is how EVERY government in the world operates. Knowing and accepting this fact is merely the initial step towards true maturity and the long road towards being truly sufficient and able to stand a fighting and surviving chance should YOU find yourself in the midst of such a situation.

Hamas is attempting the unthinkable: Islamist forces have entered Tel Aviv and Hebron - They want to unite Gaza with the West Bank & "cut Israel in two"

Use translate.

If I have it right
Just a little beating, damage is OK
Maybe in U just a little hole?
Maybe just a small eye?

I wonder what is Putin and Xi’s take in all this.

Another Butterbar in the making. Did you forget to get the passphrase and forget where we are supposed to go patrol? What are our left and right limits? Our ROEs? Or coordinate passing lines with the S3? What frequencies should we be on? What other units are in our AO? Did the S3 check with the other units? Or did you just get up and decide to wander around outside the wire?

The US Navy fucked up the basics.

it's not the first time they have fucked up and killed a shit ton of Americans. And it won't be the last.

My great uncles had a very bad day when the US Navy opened up on them on July 11, 1943. They made it to Sicily. A lot of their friends did not. The US Navy decimated the 82nd.

"At the time, the shoot-down over Gela was the worst friendly-fire incident in US history. Three hundred eighteen American soldiers were killed or wounded. Twenty-three transport planes failed to return; others limped back to Tunisia badly damaged, one riddled with 1,000 holes; many landed with blood all over their floorboards. Brigadier General Charles L. Keerans, Jr., the 82nd Airborne’s assistant commander, was aboard a plane that was lost at sea."

Careful of what you wish for sir, much of this is because of a weak and leaderless US. No telling how fast and far this may spread going forward.
I believe Israel, had Jerrico on the way back in 73; but Israel turned the tide and called the strike off.
If the ARABS believe that Israel won't take everyone with them; well, they better hit that prayer rug a little bit harder.

I love how these 3rd world shitholes feel like they have any ground to "warn" America...the only reason your shit bag of a country is allowed to exists is because we choose to let it exist...

We can kill your ass from space while you are busy fucking your goat...

Would be a real shame if we decided you were in possession of WMDs that likely don't exist.
You really think the world respects the US in any capacity anymore? This attitude is exactly why.

This makes me very happy

Because you like watching more terrorists get made in real time?

For every Hezbollah terrorist killed by an Israeli airstrike, there are several civilian casualties. Some boy watches his mom or dad or sister get blown to bits, and several years from now he's going to be inclined to get revenge against those who committed that act. This is how we get multi-generational conflict.

Wasn’t any fog out just before their attack when the Israeli aircraft made a low and slow pass by the ship with the Stars and Stripes flying high.

Oh, wait, did the Navy do the same thing with another intel ship?

Well, damn, I am sensing a pattern here.

If you drop enough bombs, there will be no future terrorists.

This is the lesson we failed to learn in Afghanistan.

We might have an army filled with fags...but they are still fags with cruise missiles.

And frankly I don't give a shit about the opinions of goat fuckers from 3rd world countries.....or really anyone else for that matter.

We have the ability to make an ocean where your country used to be, dont talk to us like you have the biggest dick in the room.
Sure. And yet everyone knows the US won't do shit. We have become the bully on the world stage. We are the bad guy hilariously often.

sometimes, you got to have a Pearl Harbor; in order to get all the citizens on board.
Our President knew what was coming and let it happen back on Dec 7th.

In the Chinese combat archery action TV series "Brothers and Sisters of the Arrow", about a trio of siblings who were masters of the Way of the Bow taking on the invading Japanese army in guerrilla warfare from 1931-1944, there was a scene where it showed two commandos, one from the ROC government and the other, Communist, working in unison in enemy occupied Shanghai abducting high ranking Japanese officers to interrogate them. A scuffle broke out during one mission where Shanghai police attempted to stop the pair from abducting one Japanese officer so they shot the enemy officer dead with their pistols and took his briefcase before fleeing down an alley. In the briefcase they discovered the entire plans for the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. This was in the August of 1941. After a lengthy conversation, the two commandos decided to turn the briefcase over to the ROC government as the ROC was in the best position to warn the USA, where the Communists were mainly holed up in the north and unable to establish international communications as they were simultaneously fighting both the Japanese and the ROC on all sides. It was later implied that the ROC government immediately warned the US about the impending Japanese attack but the US brushed off the warnings until it was too late. Not sure if there was any truth to this, just that it was an awesome action series with nonstop fighting scenes... If there is any truth to it, it is horrific beyond comprehension, knowing that just 4 months after that scene in Shanghai, there would be hundreds of sailors trapped in bulkheads on sinking battleships, doomed to watching the water level around them rising and rising until they drowned, beating on metal walls hoping that rescuers would be able to hear them. Absolutely horrific.

What day is going to be recognized as the official start of World War 3. If it isn’t in the recent past is is in the very near future.

World War II started in 1929, because the Depression had ignited a series of events that directly led to rise of militarism in Europe and Asia that advanced into full blown shooting by 1931 in Asia and 1939 in Europe. The year 2020 would be when World War III started. The global coronavirus scamdemic and the subsequent exposure of just how corrupt and unfathomably deep the reach of globalism is was just the beginning of the unraveling of the seeming sense of "stability" we enjoyed from 2002 to 2019...

Look at Grozny
Will Israel do the same thing?
Isn't the word 'press' what IDF snipers are trained to shoot at?

Fake news in action, look at the whole setup , they are playing pretend that they are lying in a ditch covering from fire.

Remember this same fake news outfit

This is the problem. Getting good information requires outside sources like on the Telegram feeds or people being there themselves with no affiliation to anyone else.

They world definitely still respects our capability to remove whole populations from the planet.
There's a growing number of people online that seem convinced that nukes don't even exist so why would they?

Again, respect vs hatred because we end up being the bad guy are not the same thing. Whose interests does nuking some other country, or killing some other nations citizens, serve? Certainly not mine lmao.

Why is it any of our business? Oh that's right. It's Israel. So it's money. Same as every other conflict the US has been dragged into recently. Money.

We have the capability to remove whole populations without even touching the nuke button.

What I’m saying is is people may not respect our culture or politicians, but they damn sure respect the amount of pain we can bring on very short notice.

Even that russian fella over in the kremlin doesn’t test us even though our aid is the reason Russia hasn’t taken ukraine yet. All Putin can do is sit in his chair and get dunked on while we lol about our weapons wrecking his equipment.

Pure politician response. Deny, deflect, distract, victim blame. Exactly what the Israelis did then and continue to do through today. What office are you running for?

Here’s a good consolidation of the events then and afterwards for those who may not know about the attack on the Liberty.

Make no mistake, I fully believe Hamas and the rest of the Palestinians are enemies of the US and our citizenry, as they desire our destruction and demise. I also fully believe Israel is neither friend nor ally beyond our common enemies when they are attacking us. They have not in the past and continuing today will not hesitate to attack us if it fits their needs at the time.

Hamas threatening to start killing the kidnapping victims… I smell desperation.

It also appears Israel has a different set of priorities than strictly negotiating for hostage returns.

I respectfully disagree. I don't think they are desperate. Taking hostages was part of the plan all along. I also think that executions were part of the same plan. They have said they are going to execute hostages and provide video and audio. Again, I take that claim seriously. They're going to do it. And every one that they do will further undermine the "legitimacy" of their cause in the eyes of the world.

Hamas fucked up in their belief that taking these actions would somehow garner a majority of world sympathy for "the palestinian plight". Hamas allowed Iran to fan the flames and further delude Hamas/the Palestinians by taking Iran's money. Hamas couldn't have been more wrong.

What Hamas will have accomplished (if they haven't already) is to show just how barbaric they are and that they have no place in modern society. The Israelis will see to it that as many Hamas as possible are killed and they (the Israelis) could give a shit about Palestinian casualties in the process.

In the past day or so, blinken has said that the $6 Bil that potatoe joe gave to Iran wasn't used for funding Hamas. Yeah, but the $80 Bil in Oil revenue that Iran realized because the potatoe administration wouldn't enforce the sanctions did. So, OK, some amount of money came out of the oil revenue, which was in part replaced by US Taxpayer's money. In the immortal words of hillary (kill 'em dead) klinton, "what difference does it make ?"

Israel should tell Hamas/Gaza strip, for everyone one person that's not returned, we'll kill 10,00 citizens and we won't stop till all of Gaza is beach front property.
and keep bombing and bulldozing till the places looks like Carthage. (bring more salt)
