Kicking Ass Somewhere
He is a Army vet, like me and his mother and grand father etc etc. He did 4 years in the 82nd, 5/73rd (Abn Recon), 2+ years in Iraq, Purple Heart, CIB, other awards with V. He saw heavy combat in 2006/7 in Diyala Province, lost a bunch of buds and blown up twice himself, I am happy he is alive and proud of his accomplishments so far. His degree is in Finance, he wants to work on Wall Street, against my wishes but that's what he wants, hope he makes some $$..

Good for him, Jerry. I couldn't find any google reference to Baruchwith. Is that the school or type of finance? Too bad hes going to Wall Street but hopefully he will learn and get out quick.

All the very best to him. I hope his character rubs off on the others...

Here's a link that may give him a network to get to where he wants to go. If he makes it big he owes me a lifetime supply of ammo and Patriot Valley Arms goodies. :)

If he's at all interested in going in on the technology or consulting side then PM me. I can get his details in front of a number of people quickly.

At least he got a degree with real-world applications. Mine got out, did a degree in Philosophy, and is now working at his old MOS as a civilian.

That's so true, though it does cut close to home. You don't see a lot of adds for "Philosophers" in the help wanted ads.

Jerry,
Tell your son, thank you, and I hope he continues to do great things. He may be going into a den of thieves (depends on where specifically), but I suspect he has already demonstrated a strong enough will and virtuous enough heart to make a difference for the better there.
