I agree. I served with two zeros who were from The Citadel who get top marks from me. Good officers and great guys as well. Although, the worst one I ever came into contact with was actually an ROTC officer. He was a safety Nazi in the extreme, and a fucking democrat. 100% of the enlisted loathed his ass. When stories are told of "fragging" officers this idiot is who comes to mind.OCS and ROTC are better officers in my experience. 50/50 on academy, but cant trust any of them as they are beholden to the two parties that appointed them.
Whoever does twitter ought to bomb the fuck out of his twitter feed or whatever the fuck
This shit stain officer was ROTC. https://www.linkedin.com/in/joshua-yabut-88616961/OCS and ROTC are better officers in my experience. 50/50 on academy, but cant trust any of them as they are beholden to the two parties that appointed them.
And......You'll get banned really fast.
"Communists" are a protected class you see.
What does an other than dishonorable mean in terms of record for a civilian? He got an OTH, unfortunately probably the best option for the Army to punish him. He deserves a BCD for sure, the military judicial system is full of lawyer games though.
And the first step to correct the academies is to remove the political appointments that potential students receive. Needs to be a massive screening every year, like an indoc from hell, not a "who knows who" game.
Five levels of discharge: Honorable, General, General under less than honorable conditions (OTH), Bad Conduct Discharge (Special or higher court martial conviction), Dishonorable (General court martial conviction)What does an other than dishonorable mean in terms of record for a civilian?
Oh, what’s a BCD?
Thanks Redman. Man that sucks if you get tagged with one of thoseFive levels of discharge: Honorable, General, General under less than honorable conditions (OTH), Bad Conduct Discharge (Special or higher court martial conviction), Dishonorable (General court martial conviction)
The last two are the punitive ones, which also remove all veteran benefits. So, this clown gets to go to the VA for treatment. He won't get a pension or anything like that, it's also difficult getting employment from most businesses with an OTH.
Yes it does, but you most likely completely deserve it. If you get kicked out of the military it’s a general discharge or an OTH (like for drugs) for the vast majority of fireable transgressions. End your carrear, no retirement, no benefits, but you’re out and free to pursue civilian life. This is handled at the command level. A military court generally doesn’t convene, and the judgement is made by the commanding officer. Thanks Redman. Man that sucks if you get tagged with one of those

A BCD or DHD is for a very serious crime in which you’ve been convicted in a military court. It’s no different from being a convicted felon, only you’ve made a bunch of additional oaths you’ve broken, so I would argue it’s even more severe. This is like a court case with lawyers, judges, and juries. The consequences are equally or more severe.
I think it’s absolutely right and proper that these things would dog a person for life in a way that I really don’t for a regular felon. When you sign that paper and take your oath you are separating yourself from everyone else, and declaring that you hold yourself to a much higher standard. It is one of service. Betray that trust and that oath, and I think you should suffer...a lot.
