So ive been looking for one of these for the past few weeks. Have they been discontinued by steiner? Most places ive called sold them at a discount and say that they no longer carry them.

I heard at the NRA show that the M6Xi will replace the M5Xi after the bugs are worked out of the M6Xi. Maybe next year? In the mean time the M8Xi for now.
M5Xi 1-5x24 has been discontinued to the best of my knowledge.
Steiner has M6Xi and M8Xi now which supercede it.
M5Xi 1-5x24 was an absolutely world class scope as I recall, but it has been a little while since I have seen it.

Thanks for the replies guys.... I was in the market for one last year but just couldn't swallow the 2.5K for a 1-5. Stopped looking for a while then saw that a bunch had been sold for 1k. I suppose due to the discontinuation. I missed the boat on that one! I'll keep looking.
