both form factors will work for me. I want a robust optic with good 1x performance, reasonable ranged performance, and above all, reliable internals. Is the 1-6 Steiner a known quantity yet, or is the nx8 1-8 the easy button, here? I have an nx8 from 2019 or so, and its good, except the eyebox could be better, and the focus is not best. Only the middle of zone 1 is clear, zone 2 and 3 and outer zone 1 exhibit distortion. Diopter is correctly set.
