What are you loading for your 1-12 twist? I loaded some 190 Sierra match king with 10 and 10.5 gr of trail boss and they are tumbling, what do I need? Heavier bullet?

Try a 180gr round nose like the Sierra or Hornady, they tend to be more stable. 175 SMK's work quite well out of 1:12 20" too.

For a 1:12 twist Remington try the 170 or 180 gn. RN bullets made for the .30-30 in front of 10.4 gr. of Trailboss. This runs 1040 fps out of my suppressed LTR and shoots 1 MOA at 100 yds. with 12 MOA drop from my normal 100 yd. zero.

The 150 flat nose 3030 bullets shoot very well for me subsonic. That or the 170s are worth a look for sure. The 180 round nose bullets work well too, but I have a quicker twist than you, so they may not work as well in your rifle. I would get a box of each and do some shooting!

You need a shorter bullet to stabilize it with the slower twist. Those heavy match bullets are longer, so they are harder to stabilize and will need a faster twist than what you have.

Thanks for all the advice, I reckon I am going to have buy some boxes and try em, want to get it figured out before I thread a can on there and mess it up!
