OK, have an FN Special Police, 24" bbl. Before I tumble a bullet into my can, I'd appreciate input on what weight bullet I can safely launch out of this setup. I'm a little dubious about 220s with this slow twist; maybe 155s?

Thanks,

Wes

150 30-30 cal hunting bullets should be great. Ive used 150/s, 170,s and 180 rn...probably better served with the lighter bullets...

I have two go to loads in my 1-12" twist barrel. One is 180gr Hornady RNs and the other is 190 SMKs. Both shoot well with Trail Boss.

+1 on the 180-gr Hornady RN.

JCH, thanks for that link. I tried to search for it but failed, appreciate it. Everyone else, Trail Boss is on my list. B. Melick, I've got a ton of 190's, I'll try them first without the can. Thanks again to everyone.
