Suppressed rifle lube / cleaning

What are you using for lube for the BCG for suppressed piston guns? I've been using clp on the carrier and a little bit of white grease on the bolt lugs.

For the lower is there a better way to clean other then douching out with gun scrubber then putting grease on the wear surfaces of the trigger group?

30wt synthetic motor oil. I have used this oil on my LWRC with a Dead Air can for the last two years and it just works. I use the normal bore cleaner.

Motor oil is a great lubricant that you probably already have in quantity. It's also cheap and stays in place better than thinner oils like CLP.

Whether or not it's good to breath the gas blow back from it is another question.

Mobil1 been working great for me - I suppose any motor oil would, that’s what I had on the shelf.

Ive been running it for a while now. I shoot mostly suppressed and have been using it since last year. Cold, hot, suppressed, unsupressed, pistols, rifles, etc. It has performed great. I really like it.

Calcium sulfonate grease. $14 for 14oz on Amazon, lot of advantages over Li-base grease. Run it on ARs (bolt, cam pin, carrier rails), pistols (frame rails), etc.

Stays where you put it, doesn’t blow off like oil in a DI AR, calcium sulfonate is used in food-grade greases, I did a decent amount of research and it’s been a great choice so far.

Fireclean makes it easier than anything else to wipe down. You can literally use a paper towel and get your bcg clean with minimal effort.

I’m just getting into the suppressed ar world but my cousin has a bottle of froglube so that’s what I’ve been using.
Anything wrong with it other than getting gummy in cold temps? (Reminder, Texas has one day of “cold” a year)
Since just about anything works I’m going to guess that it’s no different in practice than a bottle of 3in1 and continue to not really care unless told otherwise. It seems to do as well as eezox that I use for my bolts.

Spife I know you just got a new 556 barrel that is nitride treated I would look up frog lube and it's effects on melonite / nitride finishes.

I don't think it does any real harm other than jack up the finish and give it a blotchy smeared look.

Sorry my age is starting to show its the Bullfrog lube, I new it was frog something ??

Fireclean has been awesome for me for suppressed platforms for many thousands of rounds. I also am quite fond of Rotella T6 diesel oil in a pinch.

i used to use slip2000 exclusively, still like it but the geissele go juice is pretty awesome too.

CLP, it just works. I like the TW25B oil, it's actually the best I've ever used but it's too costly to use. The grease is great but if you don't get it in the parts it just sits on top until you clean it out again. I got a large syringe of that EGW grease but I don't use a lot of it anymore due to it just being a pain in the ass.

AR's are particularly nasty suppressed and really the only thing you can do is just clean it and lube it more often.

A cleaner powder makes the biggest difference.

Slip EWL or EWL 30. I shoot a suppressed 11.5" DI SBR and it runs fine without a lot of cleaning (not sure I ever have cleaned it).
