Will the standard 7.62 Surefire suppressor work on a .303 Brit Enfield? Or do i need to step up to a .338 to have the proper baffle clearance? Yes, I searched the topic, even google searched the Sniper's Hide for this question but no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

303 projectile is .311/.312 so in my opinion, it would be too close for comfort with a 308 rated can. Did you email surefire and ask them?

So what about all the folks using 308 cans on 7.62x39 guns?
Cans designed for AKs (like the Dead Air Wolverine) are opened up, relative to their non-AK specific brethren. Mostly because of the potential of a non concentric bore...

3-4 thou difference on the bullet OD shouldn't cause any problem. If it does, things were way too close anyways.

I'd be way more concerned about thread concentricity.

A properly-sized check rod should tell the true story.
