Had a few hours to get out to the range today and test a new load. I was only getting 2660fps so I'm thinking I may want try to bump up to the next node.
Your constructive input and critiques are welcome.

Rifle specs:

Surgeon 591 (R&B Customs)
260 Remington
22" Kreiger 1-8
AICS 2.0
Timney 510 @2.5lbs
Seekins 34mm rings
Premier 5-25x56 GenII XR

Load Specs:

Winchester .243 brass necked up to 6.5
Federal 210 match primers
41.8 gr of H4350
142 SMK going 2660 fps (pretty mild)
2.246 to the ogive

Atmospherics:

6622 ASL
Hum 58%

5-7 mph wind

Good Shooting!! I am looking at a similar set up but with a different action of course. I would think you could bump up the powder a little more. I am wondering what speeds people are getting with the 140's and barrels shorter than 26 inches.
