Wow that's a nice looking scope what mag range is this? How much did it cost you? And what mag setting ring adapter is that?

I assume you're talking about the po'boy throw lever (I am running 'em on a few scopes).

They are "coasters" from a fishing supply place, item NC1 from this website;
Coasters | Breakaway Tackle & Development

I assume the blue part in the picture is plastic or rubber to protect the mag ring and prevent slippage. I use a strip of rubber innertube that is invisible when installed, but that part is optional. The coasters are plastic so the odds of marring an aluminum mag ring are low.

Does it work well? And does the pretruding end of the coaster interfere with the bolt on the highest mag setting?

You can setup the lever wherever in the rotation you'd like.
My bolt guns end up with the lever (and mag ring) rotating from 7:30 or 8:00 to wherever it stops, maybe 3:00 or 4:00.
The coater is like a hose clamp with a lever attached, so it's up to you how you install it.

That looks very nifty does it cover the mag numbers or is that what you were talking about using clear hose?

Depends on how wide the mag ring is I guess.
Here's one on my March 3-24.
You can see the strip of innertube between the coaster and the mag ring.
A rubber band would work as well, but I had the innertube sitting around, and it's black and less visible.

They are nice for the money. Good quality I think. No issue with a 100 yard zero, scope has plenty of elevation adjustment.

Long sold, but here's some.

Still use a fixed 6x for hunting.

Now I need to take a picture of my 1-6

How is the tracking on the 5-20? I'm very heavily leaning toward the 5-20 and does it have an illuminated reticle?
Or do they offer one?

My 5x20 tracks great, but the illuminated reticle on it is fairly dim. But if you use it for hunting it might work well for you.

My SS HD 1-6x24 was worth all the wait.

Here on my LR 308.

Here are my two rifles with 5-20's sitting on top.....

Sendero SF II 300 Win Mag.

SPS Tac .308 Win

5-20 on my Grendel and the 1-6 on my Frankenbuild. 5-20 is a bit much for me so I'll probably sell it and get the new 3-15. I'm going to use the 1-6 for coyotes this fall.

SS10x42

I'm flip-flopping on whether or not to pull the iron sights and get some lower rings.

Thats a good idea. That place is local to me so maybe I can stop in on a test drive one day and grab me one.
