Tac Ops Rifles

Best group of the day, well of my life but till trying to learn to shoot like MikeR!

It's quieter in real life, and even more quiet without the roof and everything there trapping the sound in.

Mikes suppressors are works of art. I love mine. Suppresses very, very well. The recoil impulse is also pretty nice, doesn't seem to have quite the slow dwell other suppressors do.

And how often do you get to have the guy that built your custom rifle a suppressor to match?

Honestly man, the man has 40+ years of experience shooting tiny holes. If I can get even halfway or stay under the guarantee (which I have so far every time i've shot groups), its a win for me. Mike is just too damn good at what he does.

Got a pretty good speed up at 100 rounds with 215 FGMM, 2938 average, and 3075 avg with 190 FGMM. Black magic in these barrels for sure. Both had SDs of 5-6.
3/4 rounds at 1280 with 190 FGMM were impacts. Next time i'll sling some more 215s beyond 1500.

Good day at the range -- finally got to shoot this X-Ray 51 MF -- my first-ever experience on a Tac Ops rifle and it did not disappoint!

Obligatory centerfold shots (1-4)
First group (pre-zero) at 100m (5)
First group (post-zero) same distance (6)
Same distance hitting the shoot n c stickers (7)
Turkeys down range (8)

Ran out of daylight today but will take it out to 500 next time for some steel silhouette action.
Looking forward to many years of fun with this one -- going to give it to my dad for Father's Day -- and by this time next year, the can will be out of jail.

Many many many thanks to the Black Ops Michaelangelo -- this rifle is a work of art.

Out on the range this morning with X-ray 51 MF ... in my 30+ yrs shooting, I've never shot a tighter group than these 3 shots at 100yds

Would have been cooler if it happened after dialing in the windage, but still satisfying

Love this rifle

2 Delta 51's inbound to Boston to a Tac Ops Ninja and his lovely wife... she probably shoots better than him lol

Mike R.
Boston really?

Please pass my info on to them. They may shoot at Harvard and I would love to see the sweetness.

Maybe I can offer them some shooting opportunities and vice versa.

@pmclaine you just want to fondle and put fingerprints on the "Good Stuff" and I would too, given the opportunity.

I like my personally designed customs and they shoot great so far….they have a lot in common with these hence my feeling MikeR is a brother from another mother.

I need to give up my fetish for stuff USMC and see if two piece scope mounts will tweak that extra bit of accuracy to make them more TacOps.

I think you should have Mike build you his version of an M40 to compliment your current stable of beautiful rifles...

It would be place of pride and a more "unified" design of pieces that work together rather than my picking and choosing parts and smashing them together.......I think my rifle and pistol buying days are done though.

Deal of the century! Do you suppose this transaction will actually go through?
I have no affiliation with the buyer or seller...

Just spoke with DW and I checked the NFA book and it belongs the Spokane County Sheriff's Dept. SWAT Team. I've never seen an LEO Department sell an Agency Suppressed rifle on GB kind of strange, but we are in strange TIMES...
