Wish we could have made this match. Our 4th guy and our back up 4th guy bailed. Acutally my 4th guy had some MIL obligations come up (gotta love being one of THOSE guys) So I ran bleachers till I puked twice on sat before my work out in honour of those who were there
. It was only about 101 here in Tulsa.Glad to see no one was hurt. Wish we could have made it. We signed up for the team sniper in Sept though.
On a side not I hear you on the bolt rifle thing. Last team match you were supposed to have your pistol on you at all times. I dont know of very many that did. The ladder sounds like a good idea but driving my truck through all the targets would work also. Its finding the line in between those two thats tricky. Great job for those who went.

I know from speaking with TJ before the match that bolt rifles were acceptable. But switching out rifles is usually a no-no.

Actually the ladder idea was genious. When I saw that in Bill's truck on Wednesday at my house, I thought ( I wonder if those guys are going to use that for the climbs? Surely he dosent drive around with that all the time?).

Those A-zone hits are tough from that distance, shooting through a port, while a paintball gun is firing back at you, and you are wearing a fogged up paintball mask in 105 degree heat.

Micro: No worries mate! I never saw that description on the TV site. I'm usually a staunch anti-gamer and normally 'run what i brung', but I knew I wasnt gonna be a factor and figured I might as well have a little fun if I was gonna get heat-indiced brain damage in the process.
If I hadta lug that pig thru the whole course, I definately woulda left it in the car!

The match was a great time and I want to thank TJ and the Tiger Valley crew for all of the hard work they put into making it a superb match.
The stages were well conceived, well run, and lots of fun.
See everybody next time around.
Off the top of my head here were eight of the nine stages in the order HiCap has the video's.
1. Rescue the hostage and get your food back.
2. Cooper tunnel four man carbine drill.
3. 36 Pistol shots thru openings in a four man relay with paint ball dodging.
4. 90 round Carbine only stage over the short walls and thru the window with all four shooting at once.
5. Pistol four man relay on steel with low light goggles.
6. Thru the attic, over the wall, and thru the window with lots of targets.
7. Kill house with carbine and lots of other pistol and carbine targets.
8. Helicopter rescue with carbine and pistol targets and heavy dummy.
Not shown on the video:
9. Four man squad mover engagement with 120 rounds total from 200 yards in about 90 seconds.
The match was a great time and I want to thank TJ and the Tiger Valley crew for all of the hard work they put into making it a superb match.

The only stage we don't have video of is the last one, but we were just lying on our bellies shooting at movers at 200 yards. No running, crawling, carrying or climbing involved, believe it or not LOL.
Their were of course 4 moving targets per team, but each one was smaller. The largest was full sized IPSC and the smalles was cut to only have A and C zone. Fun stuff.

Everyone made believers out of me and everyone else who watched. I saw competitors doing challenges I never would have dreamed that they would have attempted much less complete. My hats go off to everyone, we had some true warriors at this event. Thanks for the had work and commitment.
