Guys and Gals,

Looking for something similar to the TAD soft shell pants. I would just get them if they were not discontinued. I am open to suggestions. They do not need to be camo or anything but would prefer an OD or something close. I am working with my shepards in NY winter. I am looking for something to keep me warm with long underwear. Abrasion resistance would be a plus when it comes to tracking. Waterproof is a plus but should at least be water resistant. Wind proof is more important that water proof. Any ideas from you guys would be appreciated. I have searched forever on google and have found to many options. What is something you guys use that you would trust. Would prefer to avoid Chinese knockoffs. American made is prefered.

Thanks for any input.

Try Patagonia. I use the Winter-Guide pant for ice climbing and mountaineering here in Colorado. Looks like now they have either the Alpine-Guide, Northwall-Guide or Backcountry-Guide pants. They are great pants, water resistant, wind-proof and warm.
