taken to bottom of screen when viewing a thread

Hey guys,

fairly new to the forum here. I have a question on a setting or something. when i open up a new thread, I am immediatly taken to the bottom of the thread then have to scroll up to view the first post, is this a setting that can be changed? how can i prevent this?

Does it happen to anybody else.

That's part of the "unread" feature. It takes you to what would have been the last new active post since the last time you opened that particular forum. It's actually what I prefer, but you're not alone in not liking it.

To the best of my knowledge, other than fiddling with your cookies settings or not being logged in, there's no way to turn it off.

Just click the "top" button that is under everyone's name. No more scrolling.
