"I did this as a way to honor all those who have struggled to come back from serving our country in times of war. The most interesting part for me was something I didn't find out until after I created this photoplay, was that this was Roy's second tour. He had been so gravely wounded, by stepping on a landmine, on his first tour that he was drummed out of the Army after returning. Roy built his body back up and returned to the service after proving himself fit and joined the elite Green Beret's and went back to Vietnam for a second tour for which he received the Medal of Honor."

Not my work, just passing it along. You will not spend a better 6:30 on the internet.

Trust me.

Re: Tango, Mike, Mike

Enjoyed the video.

I read his bio about ten years ago. My favorite part was his telling President Reagan how pissed he was to lose his Randall.

Re: Tango, Mike, Mike

watching a film of MSG Benavidez giving a speech was included as part of both my PLDC and BNCOC courses. I dont remember where the speach was or even what He said but i remember the look in his eyes when he spoke about his actions. that memory will be with me forever and I feel that it made me a better soldier and helped me to do a better job as a leader. that said, i think it should be mandatory viewing for ALL recruits and again in any training school, before a troop or Marine or Seaman or Airman joins the mainstream forces. than again thats MY opinion andyours may vary
