Taper Crimp

Hello, I have purchased a Redding national match die set in .308 win. It came with a taper crimp die. I will be loading for an Armalite SASS. I normally do not crimp for my bolt guns. Is it necessary because it is an auto loader? Should I exchange for a set without this die? If I crimp will it hurt accuracy?

I'm guessing that the National set was designed for gas guns and it comes with it for a reason. A little crimp won't hurt, also helps bullets stay put when feeding.

I use a Lee Factory Crimp Die with my auto loaders, cheap and easy insurance.
