Thinking of making up a few of my break down target stands I designed and putting them up for sale here on the Hide. I would like to know if anyone would be interested in maybe buying one?
We have been using the design for about a year now with great results with hanging steel , and hanging cardboard from the uprights as well. It does not hold up to a direct impact from a rifle , I havent blown any in two but I have bent one with a misjudged wind call at 750 yards with a .308 win(fixed with a hammer), but will take the bullet splash coming off steel great. The stands break down in 3 pieces and weighs about 10 pounds (just a guess). With enough energy from a bullet Im positive that it will get damaged as its made from unhardend steel.
Was thinking about charging $25.00 plus actual shipping for them.
So what do you think , yes, no , maybe. Also , I didnt see anything in the rules about this being a issue here on the Hide , is it a problem if I make a few and sell them?
