Has anyone on here ran the tx22 with a red dot on it? If so did you run into any cycling problems? Just picked one up as a suppressor host for my form 1 can and saw that a company makes red dot plates that replace the rear sight.

I tried it with a Lakeline mount and a Vortex Razor. I shot a video while I was testing suppressors. You can see the video here

As you can see there's too much weight on the slide to function right. At the time (last year) Lakeline was working on a lighter spring for the guide rod to help it function.

I reached out this spring to get it setup and they told me they were actually solving it the other way, by using lighter red dots such as the Shield RMS and Sig Romeo Zero.

I've since removed the red dot and I haven't gone through the trouble to try it again. It was nice while shooting though!

I was wondering if the weight was going to be a problem. Thanks for the reply. I'll just wait then for a little while before I give it a try. For the price of the pistol i actually really like the sights and trigger on it.
