Team Precision Match, LRGC (SE PA) 5/9/09 9am

http://langhornerodandgunclub.org/precisionrifle/precision050909.html

We've run a team precision match before, but now we're going to score it like one. You can register as a single shooter and we'll pair you up based on skill level. Because we're not shooting for a brand new harley davidson, we're endeavoring to have a more experienced shooter with a newer one. Lots of communication and coordination based stages. Small but nice prizes for 1st 2nd 3rd place team, and 1st and 2nd place high individual shooters.

Registration is required, and available online at the bottom of the page link posted. The course of fire is also there.

Lots of fun and challenging stages that exercise your shooting skills, communication effectiveness, teamwork, and ability to think, analyze and shoot under pressure.

If you can't make it, our next precision match should be in June or July.

Re: Team Precision Match, LRGC (SE PA) 5/9/09 9am

I checked out the general website and I can't find anything that gives information on what the facility has available for ranges.

Pistol, rifle, shotgun, etc. What range can I shoot out to? I belong to Easton Fish and Game but it's an hour ride for me and I want something that goes more than 100y.

This match is all precision. No AR driver required. You can even register as a single and get paired up when you arrive. That's fine.

Thanks for pointing out the gap on the web site. I'll get that added in there. Our long range has target backers at 50, 100, and 200 yards with swinging steel at the 200. Our short range has backers at 50, 25, and 7.

It's a great place to shoot and by a mile (no offense to others) the best club in SE PA.

I LOVE New Holland, and would cheerfully run an event up there if someone who is a member got club permission, and championed the effort from within. I want to join the club anyway.

I'm willing to write the proposal too. Anybody who wants to work from the inside, give me a shout.

If you can get the nod from the club, Freddy will make it happen.

I through an idea at him last fall and a couple of months later we're setting up clinic at Reade Range.

600 yds sounds awesome. I might have to make the trip for that!!
