The AI Arctic Warfare Picture Thread

Too cool, that is a rare build. Do you know the name of the NVG front mount that is used? I've never seen it before.
It's a Larue LT641. Pretty rare.

I'm the guy who bought the AWM with sand-colored skins on GunBroker two weeks ago. The surface in question was just grease and carbon. The rifle is in excellent shape. I'll get some better photos when I get the Larue installed and a scope mounted.

Here we go!...finally... now miss only handstop.... from UK within end of October..

Also, that Wilcox RULR rail for the AI mount is super cool! Did the frogmen use that configuration and not NF 30mm rings and Wilcox RULR rail?

They used both. The AI Mounts were all 34mm with reducers to get to,30mm. The rulr on this rifle is a rare variant made specifically for the AI Mount for dev.

L115A3 on 35mm film. I dabble in film photography on the side, so here's some shots I did with my Nikon F3.

Proper composition can make or break technically perfect photography!

One may misconstrue a scrotal sac with phallic symbolism here...

That's how one of my shooting buddies described the backstrap of the non - thumbhole AT.

One big, dangling bovine scrotum.

Whoa pal!

WoohhhhhA!

Use of the phrase “scrotal sac” in a largely straight male domain violates the Too Visceral Joke Act (Gay) of 1987, 22 U.S.C. §§ 188a-197aa.

Please immediately turn yourself in to the Bear Pit and create a post requesting a personal character roast.

Score! The story with this 2002 AW fixed-stock is that it was supposedly a police trade-in from Mile High at some point. Wildly cool. Id love to know what department it was from. Non-OEM barrel, but not a biggie. I like that this thing has some patina and has seen some use.

And for my fellow Texas guys, Czech Stop is the way.

It is just an AI Standardgewehr (to Swiss standards, a CISM rifle in any other country) - a Coopermatch Series Swissmaster. They take 10 round magazines, unique to the Coopermatch Series. Yes it has an AT serial number, this has been established before.

I have a few, see my profile pic and post history.

Pic below is of a 308 one. Coopermatches also came with magnum and Lapua magnum boltfaces, but those were single shot. They use an AWM/AWSM bolthead. 7.5 Swiss magazine is the original configuration.

Was hoping for you to explain. Thank you very much!
