Beekeeper seemed a *bit* woke to me, not too much but enough to notice.
It could be me though if I'm being totally honest.

Haven't heard of it but will have to watch for it to show on the platforms we stream. Finally saw Home Front recently which wasn't bad. Had to love the girl dropping a bully like a bag of turds.

It seems to have been pretty well received

ya, even 'Rotten Tomatoes' the Audience Score was @ 92% , but what was more interesting was the Critics Score was @ 70%, ..and usually critic score judges his typecast roles ( to say the least ) a little harshly. ..LOL
I went into the movie last night with a, Ho Hum take-it, or leave-it attitude . I left laughing and feel good attitude .

The Beekeeper was an entertaining movie. But it's not as good as some of the other Statham movies. Definitely not as good as the first Transporter movie. It was good to see him burn down the organization that was scamming people out of their savings. There's a special place in hell for those who prey on the elderly.

Hilariously bad its so good. At first I thought it was gonna be a Woke DEI lecture. But the scenes and dialogue went off the rails funny and outrageous with the evil scammers plot.

I watched the YouTube review by these 3 guys. 2 of them were good reviewers and 1 was a ranting MAGA hating TDS liberal who couldn’t see this movie for its non seriousness

It's on Amazon rented it for 3.99 it's over the top and a bit goofy with some of the characters but definitely entertaining.

My wife liked it. I thought the amount of "suspend reality" to believe the shooting scenes was too much for me. i.e. There's a shootout where the POTUS is attending a party and the guests just continue with their cocktails while gunman have a shootout with the Beekeeper. Yes a few flee, but others just kinda look around like it's a daily occurrence. Not to mention the typical Hollywood gun play vs. reality. Maybe I was just in a shitty mood but I would not recommend.

I mean… horrible!

Even “Nobody” was better.

Got to the point of just laughing at the silliness of it all.

Watch it as a parody and you will enjoy it. Or endure it. One or the other.

Haven't seen it except for some trailers. I'm not expecting Award winning acting or story, it's Jason Stathem being a action/ass kicking dude.
I'll eventually watch it for entertainment.
