That is what I don't get, they leave that shit hole, then work on instituting the same policies that got them to a point where they wanted to flee. Here in MT (especially sw mt) we are getting inundated with people from California and other states that are fleeing the high taxes and various other forms of govt overreach. It is astounding how many people have showed up, and this fucking pandemic only exacerbates the issue. I spent 10 months in CA and honestly felt like it was a foreign country, and that was about 10 years ago. Too bad it's been wrecked, all else being equal it is a nice piece of real estate from a strictly geographical perspective.

The problem with them leaving is they bring their politics with them. They usually go to a Conservative state because the cost of living is much lower than in this Demwit states. Just look at Texas and Florida. New Yorkers are taking over Florida and Californicators are taking over Dallas and Austin in Texas.

I’m stuck in the heart of it right here in the Bay Area. I’d say many people are running not from the political climate but rather the insane property values. You’re literally running on a treadmill. Granted dipshitedness has exacerbated everything. The fire aren’t helping. I know 4 people who lost their homes this last go around.
