The shifting of blame for Corona

It amazes me how in just a few short months, the blame has shifted from China and the WHO to Trump.

Trump bans travel with China. Pelosi goes to China town, "nothing to see here". Trump is called a xenophobe and called out by all the blue check twitter mob as being racist.

But at this point, IMO...the average person was placing blame where it likely belonged...the source of the problem. China and the WHO.

Fast forward.

Corona is now all Trumps fault. He didnt act fast enough, he told people to inject bleach, he was against masks, etc. There are perhaps reasons to criticize Trump on corona, but the goalposts have moved time and time again. We must now "stop the spread".

Both parties but especially dems have used the crisis to pump money into corporations and pet projects.

Dem governers have used corona to stifle freedoms and derail the economy.

All the while blame has moved further and further away from the source at least from the perspective of the avg citizen. You do not even see the word "China" in corona reporting in the MSM anymore.

It is sad, what should have united the people ended up being about masks and political propoganda with obvious intent to hurt Trump politically.

Never let a crisis go to waste has taken a new low. IMO, we will never fully recover. Small business, our feedoms, trust and unity. There were fractures before, but clear breaks now.

Look at who has gotten rich via lopsided trade with China - Bezos, the Walton family, Michael Dell, Musk, right on down the line to small-business owners who were happy to outsource the production of random small parts. It all adds up.

Now go look at the politicians and members of the media that the above have bought and paid.

Then think back to how many members of the general public bought into the myth of free trade.

Small business has been crushed by the mega corps, many had to do that to survive. Thats how it works, but many cards stacked against them. I do not have number, but I suspect the percentage of small business that actually "make it" is quite low.

And back to immediate topic. Its strange to me how all of it is ignored or deflected.

If its said and repeated enough it becomes true.

The shifting of the blame started shortly after the Presidents attempt to have a travel ban. Remember "hug an asian." "The travel bans are xenophobic." Straight into "Trump downplayed the virus."

Problem is now, it looks like those who down played it are correct.
