There is a FUCKER born every minute.

Ya know, the support and respect shown to SO MANY professionals that are Serving society in so many different venues (LEO's, Fire, Rescue, EMS, etc) and no I'm not talking about 'the service industry'.....

And then there comes situations such as these, whom fall under the "Dickhead" category to say the least.... and we're still supposed to 'blanket' respect them all?

Exactly how does that work out? Am I a supporter and proponent of "the good",,,, sure! Am I trying to vilify 'them' as a whole, no. Not at all. There are definitely two different groups, in that one category. How does one differentiate, BEFORE learning the hard way?

I hear 'ya, blue falcons and buddy fuckers always fuck things up and make everyone look bad, it only looks worse when the good guys cover for the bad ones. And when the bad ones aren't held accountable or to the same standards. Then it does become a question.

What this guy did wasn't illegal or anything, and I guess it could be argued it's better he be put up for adoption than be neglected, but it was a dickhead move. My dog and cat are family, there's simply no way I could do that. But some people drop their kids off at fire stations and when Nebraska passed that one law they had fucking people coming from all over the country to abandon their kids (the anti abortion folks weren't lining up to adopt either).

Old dogs can be a pain and some can't be left alone, they go nuts. The ex took my cocker, he turned 13 this year so two years past his life expectancy which is amazing considering he's epileptic, blind, deaf, has had multiple surgeries to sew up his ears, remove anal glands, tumors, severe allergies, etc. He was called the "million dollar dog" and the vets used to give us breaks and free visits with him. If left alone, he'd howl and make these ear piercing barks. But he was, and still is, family. For all this shit about the marriage and divorce, I do know she'll take care of that dog and he liked her best anyway.

They say a society, and a person's worth, can be measured by how they treat animals. Some people just think of 'em as furniture or possessions.

I read in another article that the handler agreed to adopt the K9. He took the dog straight to a Vet and told them to drop him off at a shelter.
If that part of the story is true he should be held accountable. If he didn't want the dog, don't agree to to take and care for him.

Also if it is true, I hate to think of how the K9 was actually cared for. I am not criticizing other K9 handlers or LE but this shows a lot about this handlers character.
