Cecropia are big, too.
I found a cocoon once, and put it in a jar on the windowsill. It hatched early, like in February, in Michigan, from the window heat, and I just happened to be tripping balls when I noticed it crawling up the curtains in my mom's living room...

Here we have been seeing harnessed tiger moths, just saw one on my porch accompanied by one with an inverted pattern too! I don't know if it's a male/female thing - it looks like it might be.

Came across this Luna moth on a school job last summer.

Found this Sphinx moth dead out in a industrial plant a couple years ago. It was about 2.5-3” across the wings. Killer camo pattern on this one.

Found this Cecropia on my headache box out on a powerhouse build a few years back.
