    The land of many waters
YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Shopify, and others have been cracking down on Steven Crowder and other conservatives in the last 48 hours. This story does not cover all of it but it covers some of the shenanigans.

If you like having conservative voices out there I recommend you subscribe to whatever entity you enjoy like:
    TheBlaze
    Daily Wire
    Prager University
    Steven Crowder Mug Club
    Etc

As much as it may piss a guy off, YouTube is still a private organization and should be allowed to publish or censor whatever they want. Same with Fuckbook, Twitter and the likes.

True until they are giving donations to any one particular politician and or party and then using said influence to do the politicians/party bidding. Then it just becomes censorship by proxy.

That's the LIE they tell you and way too many swallow.

YouTube is NOT a "private organization" they are a global multinational publicly traded for profit corporation.
They follow all kinds of government regulations and try their best to change the government to their own liking.

    Corporations are NOT people.

They pretend to be neutral, but they are hard line SJW/Communist/Left Wing/Democrat supporters
What do you want to bet if it was the other way around the law would already be on them making them "give a voice" to the oppressed freaks?

Until .Gov purchases YouTube, I'm calling it a private entity.

Are you saying corporations don't have the right to free speech?

The "rules" are already to their liking.
Private or not their bias is on display.

That there is a big question, part of a bigger saga.

I'd say that once you become a "corporation" you are not the same as an "Individual" or a "Private company". A small business such as a little bake shop owned by a single person/couple could be easily seen as a "private company" and an extension of the owner and their rights.

But it's hugely different legally for just about everything else (especially getting away with crimes) for Corporations.
For that matter legally according to the government YouTube is not owned by a "private entity" they are owned by a publicly traded corporation
(If you are unsure, just ask the SEC for the differences in regulations between "privately held companies" and "Publicly Traded Corporations"

Now these big corporations want to have all the same rights as if they were some individual, but NONE of the actual responsibilities/liabilities/penalties that an actual "individual" would.

You'll notice when some little bake shop refuses to write pro Gay marriage stuff on a cake (despite offering to bake the cake and give them all the stuff), the fed gov and state gov are all up in arms to bankrupt them and run them out of business.... So if you are suppressing conservative speech I don't see why they should be treated any differently.

I believe once any company takes government money or receives anything that benefits them from the government they should no longer be considered a private entity. And they should be required to follow the same rules as the government and not be allowed to pick and choose who they can silence.

If someone opens a business and receives no public/government funds they should be able to pick and choose who they will do business with. If they do not want to do business with any of the protected classes that should be their choice and let a free market decide if they can survive the consequences of their choices.
