She becomes vindictive enough that she vows to hang on in spite of her rapidly deteriorating physical condition to deny DJT another SCOTUS appointment.

If the new nominee gets in this year, the Senate puts up a rule where they will not consider a vote to appoint a new SCJ unless there are fewer than 9.
Then change all the procedures back to 60 votes to change a rule.

Honestly, does it really even matter anymore? They do what they want anyways despite the wishes of the people. There doesn’t seem to be any facet of gov left, aside from maybe one man, that is for the people. I believe the last several nominations left a lot to be desired, what makes anyone think this one will be any different?
