I've known these guys for about 10 yrs now. This is a small branch across the street from where our headquarters office used to be until we moved into Cityplace about 5 months ago. A father and son own the branch, they're both in stable condition I'm told. Fortunately the son's wife (who acts as secretary) was out of the office at the time.

These things are bad, but it's worse when you know the victims. My prayers are with them.

As the economy gets worse, I expect more of the same, and it's not a good time to be an investment broker.

Really no way to prevent or predict this sort of thing. You cannot fix stupid or crazy.

From the "Life Goes On" Dept...

First 3 IT Requests I handled in the shitstorm following the shooting:

1) Lock down the building access so only people with cards can get in (Ok, I'm hip with that)

2) Reroute that office's phones over to customer service @ headquarters (makes sense)

3) Can the music-on-hold for the OKC office PBX be set to play the same Coldplay songs as the headquarters PBX? (Whaa?)
