It took almost a year, three scopes (thanks Wonder Optics for QUICKLY making good on the only guy who got TWO bad ones...), re-doing my scope mount, two boxes of SMKs, and whatever else...

And it's to only 600 yards for now...

But oh, the joy of being free from the two-sighters drill of regular bullseye highpower!

175 SMKs, 42.0 gr IMR 4064, CCI 200s and 1x-fired FC brass, in .308 and an M1A.

4.7 mils at 600 yards (that wind was closer to 10 mph...)
[can I post a pic without hosting it on some dumb webpage???]

3.9 mils at 500 meters

2.6-2.7 mils at 400 meters

1.6 mils at 300 meters

and .6 mil at 200 meters.

Plus 2-liter jugs killt at 200 and 500 meters...

Chrono says the stuff is now 2550 fps, down 30 from two months ago and 20 degrees colder...?

Re: Think I finally got some zeros

Temperature does have some affect on velocity. Some powders are less temperature sensitive than others.

Well, this was 30 fps slower when it was 20 degrees WARMER.

Only Varget has been reported to go opposite like that, but to a much smaller degree (no pun intended, but it *is* convenient).

I'll have to re-check this brass--it might be more roomy than the rest of the FC I have around.
