I can see how it might and I repeat might make someone change their vote, but is that not the same as a politician saying " I believe in the 2nd amendment" or " no new taxes", getting votes because of those statements, and then voting for anti-gun law or new taxes.

Oh yes I remember back in 2016 all the polls stating that Trump was going to win.

Numbers like 90 percent were voting for him. The media wasnt giving Hillary any chance. She didnt even show up on election day as she kn ew she was dead woman walking.
