I just read this on the Drudge Report http://www.kansas.com/2010/03/29/1246609/marines-dad-ordered-to-pay-protesters.html

This just isn't right. A mans son died for our country and this happens. If there is a fund anywhere to help this guy pay the costs please post it here so we all can contribute.
If I would have been there even though I'm an old man they would have taken me away in handcuffs!

Article isn't very informative of what happened... I'm assuming they were arrested for protesting in an illegal manner and wanted to go after the family for allowing them a venue to be arrested?

sort of the crux of free speech isn't it? Know the laws or learn it the hard way...

Allegedly members are lawyers insight response to sue.
They are the one who also protested a mine saying "thank god for miners deaths"

Reason they protested? Armed Forces "don't ask don't tell" recent ruling.

My feelings for them? Hung by their ankles and all whom they have slander stone them to death. Would be letting them off easy.

A friend of mine had a dog who got into a porcupine. The vet pulled the quills out.

The next time, he did it again; but he also told my friend that if he saw the same dog back again with quills in his nose, he was gonna put the animal down, because he was just too stupid to learn even the most obvious lesson.

They don't do that with people...
