Maggie’s This man has wood.

Re: This man has wood.

yeah it's certainly real...saw him on tv...basically that's all warts. He's been getting treatment from an american dermotaologist and getting good results. He was a freak performer before getting treatment

Re: This man has wood.

Don't know about humans, but with cattle you can cut warts off of them, then put the warts down their throat and it will get rid of the warts and they won't have any come back. Might be a cheap alternative for the poor bastard.

Re: This man has wood.

I saw a tv show on this guy. He refused treatment from doctors in the USA because he said thats the only way he can make money is by appearing in freak shows. Idiot!

No, its not genital HPV subtypes; its usually subtypes 5 & 8 in EV. There are over 100 subtypes of HPV identified. Those aren't the ones that cause cervical cancer. Patients with this condition (epidermodysplasia verruciformis) have a genetic mutation in the EVER1/EVER2 genes allowing the HPV to get out of control. Yes, they can be oncogenic (cause cancer), but they evolve into cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma, not cervical or penile cancer. (BTW, the oncogenic HPV's from genital warts cause cervical cancer, not uterine/endometrial cancer) . The guy in the above links couldn't get optimal treatment because of underlying liver disease. I'm surprised Gaspari would even give him high dose Vitamin A (I assume he is monitoring his LFT's), because that causes liver toxicity with any retinoid.

Not a good idea. Babies born to moms with genital warts in the birth canal can actually develop laryngeal papillomas (warts) down their throats, as well as in the genital area, from being exposed during delivery. That's why when a doctor treats a kid under age 3 with genital warts its assumed to be transmitted during delivery; after age 3 most states require reporting cases to CPS.
There have also been documented cases of health care workers developing these (laryngeal papillomas) in the throats and airways from aerosolized HPV particles when these genital lesions were treated with CO2 lasers before it was appreciated how important smoke evacuators in the OR were for this procedure.

Hanging head low in shame. But that is what they said on TV. I guess TV is just about as accurate as the internet. I promise to research better.
