This weather is a little concerning

Reports say a twister touched down south of Mason, and 5 inch hail , thank God it missed Buchcanan Dam.I stayed up all night watching the rain and wind , probably have some clean up to do this morning.
got 1.3" South of Bandera, but need more. dont need the hail. i parked everything under sheds that i could. better safe than sorry.
Looks like more coming in tonight….
Have been thinking about what I heard last night too, and am pretty convinced it was a tornado, or at least “tornadic activity” or whatever the hell it’s called.
If it was a tornado, it seems that it never touched down, but it was a really distinct sound; different than the normal rolling thunder we get around here. Almost like a helicopter, but 1000 x louder, and you could feel the rapid rise and fall of the air pressure…shook the hell out of our house, and while it’s stick built, it’s all rock and stucco faced. It took a lot of energy to rattle our cages like that!
