This week was expensive

I had to settle up on an action I ordered in January, a chassis I ordered in March. The way FFL transfers work around here it makes a lot of sense to combine several gun purchases and with Labor Day sales I'm spending a lot more but saving a lot too. I ordered a Cyke Pod and some brass also.

I think I will be buying some MK Machine throw levers, a barrel and maybe some triggers too.

Ouch.

It's not quite MRAD Master race but it's a lot.

It will be lots of fun once I'm putting it all together.

ARC Nucleus action, MPA chassis.

I really wish I could get the chassis with an Area419 style Arcalock rail (built in) and the Cyke Pod with an Arcalock clamp, that would be the perfect bipod/barricade clamp setup without adding any weight.

Buying in bulk by mail order (with transfer through local FFL) is going to save me about $60 in transfer fees (compared to buying one at a time) and the sale price is going to be about $415 less than local prices. I'm saving another $40 in sales tax too.

I would buy locally if it were only a few bucks difference but it amounts to more than 50% off.

Labor day is practically the time to buy guns. The sales are unbeatable.

I think I'm almost done. I got everything I planned plus a couple BCGs.

I think I'm only a couple buffer tubes, a couple buffers, one gas tube, one gas block and some charging handles away from having (if not in hand, ordered) everything I need to turn those stripped lowers in to complete rifles.

Unless I find some great deals, I think I'll wait for black Friday to complete everything.
