Tikka 26 inch heavy barrel model?

24" CTR is your best bet for drop in

Or get the cheapest one you can find and get a prefit shouldered barrel in exactly what you want for around the same price as a CTR

I was in the exact same situation as you not long ago. Tikka don’t do a 26 inch heavy barrel and the factory pic rails are only 0moa so I bought a lite (cheapest model) and rebarreled to what I wanted.

The actions and triggers are the same between them all, the only differences are bolt stop lengths and the tac-a1 is a two stage trigger.

Looking at the price of say a Tikka Lite then rebarrel it would it make more sense for me just to buy a BigHorn Orgin action and have it barreled to my liking? I keep going back and forth on which way to go.

Likely yes if it fits budget

Tikka is nice for the 3.0-3.4" coal cartridges though like saum and 284 variants

The new Tikka UPR comes in 20" or 24" with a 20 MOA rail. Its a threaded semi heavy barrel same as the CTR and same bottom metal and magazine , and the stock is very nice. Cartridges 6.5 CM, .260, or .308. I'm looking for another UPR stock, if you buy that and put it in a chassis PM me.
