The guy I bought the rifle from was quite a bit taller than me and had all 4 buttpad spacers installed with the longer screws. Needless to say, I'm missing the shorter screws. Does anyone happen to know the size of the shorter ones? I looked online but can't find anything, and I'm not really trying to pay $81 for the spacer set just to get 2 screws. Thanks!

I think I may have answered my own question, but I'd like to list my findings here anyway in the event that another dumdum makes the same mistake I did. Broke out the calipers, flashlight and eye loupe. Looks like the long screws are M5-0.8 x 35. I'm going to try M5-0.8 x 16 for the shorter ones. Looks like with the long ones bottomed, I'm 15-16mm too long.

I am no engineer, but couldn't you just subtract the size of the spacer or spacers you are removing and then subtract that same amount from the screws you currently have that would tell you the size of the ones to go buy from the hardware store wouldn't it?
I needed to measure the diameter of the bolt, the distance from one thread to the next, and the total length, minus the head.

There is always more than one way to skin a cat, but another easy way would be to just see how much screw is sticking out with the all the spacers then see how much is sticking out with the spacers removed (hint it will be plus the size of the spacer you remove......LOL) I think its a wood type screw so thread pitch probably doesn't matter that much........Good luck!

I'm not entirely sure you understand what I needed. I didn't know any dimensions of the bolt, so I had to measure them. Not just how much shorter it needed to be.
