Tips/Tricks on powder change out on Autotrickler v3?

Received the new unit and got everything setup. Wow, what an awesome upgrade over my chargemaster! (It has served me well, just wanted faster/more precise) I have a couple of 419 upgrades coming. (Clear lid, etc)

So, now the (dumb) question. What is your process for powder change outs? I ended up lifting the whole lid off and dumping out that way. Did some searching but couldn't find a video. Didn't want to just have to keep dumping until empty.

Turn the lee hopper to close it, cycle the drum while tapping until not more is getting throw from it. Lift the hopper off and pour it out. Lift the pan off an pour it out. Lift the trickler up and pour it out.

Thats basically the only way unless you want to get a vacuum to fight how gravity works.

Agree. This is an awesome piece of equipment. The AREA 419 Accessory Kit is worth the money.
I have the Area 419 Accessory Kit (worth the money IMHO). The Pyrex Powder Hopper Valve has a couple of markings on it which I could never get to correspond to the valve being Open or Closed. I played around with it and spilled enough powder to start the next shortage.
My solution is to put a mark the Auto Throw and two marks and labels on the hopper. One for Open and one for Closed.

Once closed cycling the powder throw is important as spife7980 pointed out. Then remove the hopper.
