As opposed to just SB or FL sizing, how do you measure the chamber of an AR-10 and size your cases to a more precise dimension for more accuracy and greater longevity of brass?
What specific tools do you use?
Thanks.

I use the SB dies, and check headspacing with the Hornady set..
as far as actual chamber measurements on your rifle, sorry I don't know
Are you having issues with your current reloads?

Measure the same as any other gun. Fired brass and headspace comparator. For AR10 I set my brass back .002-.003" with a Redding Type S FL bushing die. If you are loading to mag length then you will have a LARGE jump to the lands and you want the bullet to be as straight as possible for the launch. I sort ammo <.002" is for serious shooting and >.003" is for under 400 yds shooting.
